I was very surprised yesterday to hear that this photo below from my post Nought Such Chubby Checkers was selected the OVERALL
WINNER! of the July round of "Does My Blog Look Good In
This" (DMBLGIT). As well as winning the awards for Aesthetics and Originality. I really never expected to be picked out from the fantastic and amazing collection of photos received. I had only a couple of posts during the month of June and therefore very few photos available for entry, so naturally I'm absolutely delighted with my win! Many congratulations to my lovely and dear friend, (I'm so blessed to be able to call her my friend!) Béa from La Tartine Gourmande for winning the Food Styling; Creativity Award, and for coming 2nd place overall with 2nd place awards in Aesthetics and Originality! Congratulations also to Amanda and Tyler from What We're Eating - winners of the Eatability Award; Lara from Cookbook 411 - winner of the Food Styling, Technical Expertise Award.; Debbie from Bunny Pie - winner of the Focus and Clarity Award. And finally also to Audrey from Berry Simple, Melody from Land of Snooze...zzzzz, Annie from Bon Appegeek and Mary from Alpine Berry.  Please take some time to browse through the other entries and
you'll see that the competition was very stiff indeed with a record number of 66 entries received.My many great thanks to Helen of Grab Your Fork for all her hard work hosting the July round of DMBLGIT and also to the judges: Matt, Joycelyn, Julia and Melissa. And there's just one other little piece of news I like to share... I was delighted to recently have Bron Marshall - Classic and Creative Cuisine included in an article of Food Blogging published in the Chicago Tribune! "A food blog stuffed with gigantic, lush photos of beef scallopini, tamarillos and ice melting in New Zealand, home to this Web site's creator, Bron Marshall."
