I know it's cliche to say; but it's hard to believe in a
short few days it will be December again.
Although in many ways it is believable, as 2013 has, yet again been an eventful year for me… by which I mean event
FULL.
So much so, it's difficult to know where to begin, or even what indeed to share with you.
Here are a few of the highlights.
I was fortunate to be enlisted together with
Luxon design to create all new
packaging images for the
Angel Bay line of frozen burger patties and bites as
part of my continuing work, recipe development, preparation, food styling and photography for
ANZCO Foods and their numerous brands.
If you take a look you might now find them in the freezer section of all leading supermarkets in New Zealand.
Another of my bigger projects was helping out on
"The Edible Journey"
a fundraising cookbook by the
Tai Tapu School PTA… however don't
be fooled by the school occasion. This is a fully illustrated, thick and weighty publication with 200 recipes submitted
from local food producers and businesses throughout Banks Peninsula, to past school members, current mums and dads,
prepared, styled and photographed by yours truly.
You can purchase the book online through their website
www.ediblejourneycookbook.co.nz, Scorpio Books in Christchurch or at any of the participating businesses
throughout the journey from Halswell to Akaroa.
If you come back in a few days, I hope to share more of the photography, some outtakes and a copy to give away to one
lucky reader.
The last highlight of the year I want to share with you and possibly the largest and most all encompassing, emotional
project I worked on is... this little guy.
Theo Willem Marshall
who like his big sisters before him couldn't wait to enter the world and arrived a tad early in September.
As you can see he is the most adorable baby boy there ever was and naturally we are completely and utterly smitten.
See you again soon!
