Danielle tagged me for the 7 things meme, I'm not terribly fond of doing memes but I'm very fond of Danielle and her blog - Habeas Brulee so here goes...

Ok so the number one random thing about me...
I enjoy twisting balloons, making balloon animals, poodles, monkeys, teddybears... so whenever children visit our home they normally go away with a pile of rainbow shaped balloons to annoy their parents with on the drive home ... hehe.

Number 2
Last Saturday I spent half the day chasing and trying to catch one of our girls pet rabbits, however she remained awol until Monday morning by which time I guess she got hungry enough to come back up close to the house and had slowed down enough for me to catch ... now we wait to see if she met up with any boy bunnies during her escape and if she is pregnant! This Saturday (today) was more relaxing as I visited a local farmers market to collect the supplies I need for my upcoming Paperchef #26 entry.

Number 3
I adore hanging crystals and prisms and therefore, not surprisingly, I collect them. In the evenings as the sun goes down our hallway wall and celling is filled with hundreds of mini rainbows.

Number 4
Broccoli is my favourite green vegetable and brussel sprouts my least favourite.

Number 5
This is rather petty, however, I very much dislike being called "Bronwyn" and "Bronnie" in particular. It's a bit like how a guy prefers to be called Tom if his name is Thomas rather than Tommy. Since I've matured I prefer to be called Bron!

Number 6
I have more recipe books than I can be bothered counting - some very old, some very new, some great, some not so great, some in English, some in French and German, some with pretty pictures, some with no pictures, some in boxes, some in shelves!

Number 7
I've worn right through all my oven mitts - the fluffy stuffing is all but gone and the cats enjoy scratching on them and ripping them apart even more after pulling them down off the oven handle where they're kept. I keep forgetting to replace the mitts until I go to pull something out of my oven and burn my hands yet again...sigh!
