My husband loves radishes thinly sliced with salt on buttered white bread - me not so much. I am however, intrigued to try them roasted!

At Christmas time I look forward to making and giving away (and eating of course) a variety of home made sweet treats - almond toffee, sweet and spicy nuts, "odd balls", rocky road and Christmas biscotti studded with craisins and pistachios for that red and green theme.

Usually I look forward to our family-recipe Christmas pudding (at least 5 generations have made the same recipe - maybe more) ... but no one made it this year. Wahh! But I will still be looking forward to sherry tortoni and fruit salad. :)
