Waaaay nice site!.

I haven't got much of a sweet tooth either, I think my perfect aphrodisiac meal involves port steaks or fillets, wrapped in bacon & baked on a bed of sliced apples.

Ooh - that reminds me, an amazing dinner we cooked on New years eve - two pork fillets hammered flat (t had to drive for miles to find pork - any pork & would have settled for chops in the end, but found fillet in a far flung butcher shop in some small town...), one laid out & smeared with a mix of chopped prunes, sausage meet & a generous slosh of port), the other fillet laid on top & then the whole thing wrapped with streaky bacon. And baked for 45 mins.

had it with salad & potatoes chopped & baked with chorizos.

A feast.

We didn't need dessert.

It was divine.

Bron, how do you make rose water? Do you make it yourself? I am still having second flush of flower this week, so I am thinking to make rose water myself if I can. Do you have any recipe for that?
