How wonderful that you can enjoy wild blackberries in March! We won't be able to taste any blackberries until late summer ... we're still dealing with the Canadian cold, but this post has given me hope that we will feel the sunny warmth of summer soon enough.

Crumbles, crisps, and, well, baked fruit desserts in general really make me happy. It's winter in Canada right now, and there's something very satisfying about a dish like your crumble when it's served nice and hot. Of course, adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream never hurts, either.
