Between Hemispheres ... a celebration of some of the best from some of the best! Congratulations Bron, Jeanne & Betty (Nanette? am I right? Non?). Love to see what 3 of my fave bloggers post across seasons.
Those apricot shots are seriously gorgeous Bron! Pity about the Apricot coma... hope you're out of it by the time summer & stone fruits reach our spot on the globe!

As for this Apricot Tarte Tatin - it's making me long for summer. I just want to dive into that box of orange!

I know I've wished you good luck on this in an email, but it can't hurt to say it again. Good luck. I'm sure you will have lots of fun with the chicas - all wonderful women.

Beautiful apricots too. Central Otago maybe? I saw them in the shops here last week for $15 a kilo.

I'm late in offering my congratulations on your years of blogging but hey, saying nice things is timeless. Here's to many more. Now I'm off to visit Between Hemispheres.

those apricots looked really lovely, I have made 3x6lbs of spicy apricot sauce,as I dont like watties tomato sauce, thank goodness we live in an area that we can get fruit reasonably cheap. I paid on average $3:00-$4:00 per kg

I am sooooo envious of the apricot mountain... That's one of the things you seldom get here in the UK - good apricots. When I go home, you usually find me in the produce aisle of the supermarket fondling the plump apricots!!

Jeanne @ Cooksister — Wednesday 24th February 2010 2:07 am

I've just come across your blog through MacTweets... Your recipes and photography are absolutely amazing...inspiring!

Cristina @ TeenieCakes — Wednesday 3rd March 2010 4:09 am

What a wonderful idea. I love it. It's such a beautiful idea. The best bit for me (after the stunning photographs!), is to be reminded how small our world is with this new blog.

Julia @ Mélanger — Wednesday 24th March 2010 9:09 am

You capture so many senses in your photos. Love it.

Joanne — Thursday 25th March 2010 8:25 am

mmmh... i am missing apricots! you know, i am craving them not just because we're still caught up in what feels like deep winter around here, it's also that i grew up with the TASTIEST of apricots (from the Wachau or Hungary) and nothing, absolutely nothing i can buy here comes even close to those in taste... so i envy you, big time, and am tempted to lick the screen (if past experience didn't tell me that's futile) ;-)

johanna — Sunday 4th April 2010 11:41 am

Love your tarte; in Lebanon the apricot season is very short, so most people make apricot jam at home; I made it using sun power. Love your photography, you are very talented.

tasteofbeirut — Wednesday 5th May 2010 1:46 pm

Stunning!!! Just found your site and your photography leaves me speechless ... needless to say, your recipes too! If I ever write a book I will keep you in mind for my cover shot :) Amazing talent.
