Happy Anniversary!!! You know, I've never even seen a fresh currant in real life. I've only seen them all dried up like raisins.

Congrats on 4 years Bron. Doesn't time fly when you are having fun? My 5 years snuck by in January without me noticing. I remember back when you , me and arfi were the pioneers of NZ food bloggers. I hope you celebrated in style.

Happy Anniversary! This is my first visit to your blog, but I look forward to the next year already :)

My mother is gluten-free, but I often get scared off by baking recipes that utilise many different flours. I love quinoa though, so think this one is doable. Plus, it looks delicious, and I love tart fruits!

Thank you :)

Happy anniversary! Very pretty cakes. I absolutely love almond in everything, so I think I would love these. I also have a huge tub of almond paste in the fridge, so maybe its time to use some for this delicious recipe!

A very happy and very belated congrats to you on your 4th bloggaversary Bron. My, time flies when you are having fun. It has been 3 years now since I have been following your wonderful blog and it has been so gratifying to see how it has grown into the awesome thing of beauty that it is today. And I don't doubt that it will get even better - though how does something as perfect as this improve?? Maybe, like a great wine or cheese.....just with age my dear. I love your blog and one day when I am big I want to be like you :o) Thank you for all the happy hours of gawking that you have provided to date. Long may it continue. And I am so with you on the education of palate and more knowledge issue. I am a recent convert to quinoa...living here on the tip of Africa we are always last hehe....I mean I just got the new facebook page 10 minutes ago. Have never seen quinoa flour but I shall sure ask. I am wondering if one could use chickpea flour? Ilva uses it in cakes and sweet things. These little gingerbreads are so gorgeous I am cussing my diet right now hehe...But soon they will be mine :o) Thanx so much xxx

Hi Bron,
I would love to bake those little cakes but I must omit egg whites. Any idea of the food I could use instead for similar results? Thank you and congrats for your beautiful blog!
