Oh how wonderful. This is definitely on my list for my next visit to Christchurch.

  • We love it Lynette, a very pretty place to shop!

Wow, these treats look sooooo cute. Delicious. If it's any consolation, Brisbane has limited stock of macarons, too. Figure I just have to make them myself! ;)

  • They were so cute indeed,
almost a shame to eat them, at least we have some photos and the prospect of going back for more, hehe
Thank you for your lovely comments Julia

    Hi Bron,

Thankyou for your lovey words about my Macarons and I love your photos of your afternoon tea. What a lovely idea.I have been getting great feedback about the macarons and I am about to launch a web site so macaron lovers all over NZ will be able to indulge.
Please say Hi next time you are at the market.

I have just caught up with your post on macarons. You may already know that Amanda McBeath's are also available at the coffee bar in the Rialto on Moorhouse Avenue. Some of her more recent experiments in flavours are not so good as the traditional originals - rather too much food colouring and the interiors sometimes sludgy. The price we pay for creativity, I suppose.

    Dear Bron,

Some time ago you featured some beautiful photos of our company's products on your blog 'Collecting Sunday Afternoon Tea Treats'.
My wife, Jeanie and I thought the photos were absolutely delightful.
We would love to get hold of copies of the photos and possibly use them for promotional purposes.
    Would that be possible?

    Thank you for your consideration.

    Kind regards,

    David and Jeanie Smith
