That feels perfectly right to me. We are suppose to be 'intelligent" beings. We should know what we can change and what we can't and go with it! It will not be snowing there in December!
Hooray for you!

Gorgeous pictures of the snow. I look forward to seeing what you're cooking/eating to stay warm! Being in an office with blasting A/C in summer dress, I can (somewhat) relate to your cold weather :)

I have just left comments on at least 10 blogs that talked about experiencing unbearable "heat" and "humidity." So it's lovely to cool off here now. Have a happy weekend!

Those pictures are gorgeous (and I love the new banner)! Have a fantastic weekend and don't forget to tell us all the wonderful stuff you'll be getting at the market!

Nothing like the sight of snow to help you recover from a horrible heat wave! Thanks so much for posting these photos. After days of 100+ weather here in the northeast US, it's lovely to see snow.

I so don't miss the snow ;)

We are looking forward to our first Christmas with daughter in the southern hemisphere, but my won't it be sooooooo different. As the birth of that baby was around the 29th September you wonder why they picked December, and given that they used an already existing feast day (Winter Solstice) you wonder why everyon in the southern hemisphere should not be celebrating next week. Hey, why don't you have a WS feast day anyway and have some of the atmosphere that we get at Christmas.

Love the new banner! And OMG look at all that snow! Makes me want to rush out and put on some skis... I still can't get used to a cold Christmas and New Year and long for the summery festive seasons of my youth - go figure!

Wow - we just went to the pool and have gorgeous summer weather here. But I very much love your lyrics. A late comment, but I had to smile reading (or rather humming).
