We tend to feel a wee bit melancholic when Autumn blows into Christchurch, but when Hagley Park turns all golden and red, the mood lifts again. Out comes winter's comfort foods: hearty casseroles, oven-baked South African puddings, and cheese and red wine in front of the fire!
