Wow...that is some serious amounts of candy on that!

I am not one big on gingerbready-type stuff, but this is really one of the cutest things that I've seen all year! Oh, my. Brills.

Wow! The kids and I will be coming to you next year!

catherine — Thursday 18th January 2007 3:19 pm

Wow -- my grandkids would love that! I'm definitely going to save this recipe for the next birthday. Don't know that mine will ever come out quite as lovely as yours, though.

Wow! That's one of the funniest and pretty train I've ever seen!!! It'a piece of art!!!

Piperita — Thursday 18th January 2007 7:43 pm

How beautiful and cute!

Dolce — Friday 19th January 2007 12:25 am

That is fabulous...I especially like that you each did one car !!!
I did a house once when the boys were little - it lasted 5 years until some attic critters got into it! Love the train idea.

You are so clever!
When I was making my gingerbread house, (which really ended up being four rectangles) I had grand ideas of making circular towers, but failed repeatedly when I tried to bake them in the round.

What a piece of work Bron! Amazing! I would feel ashamed to eat any of it, scared to hurt it!

bea at La tartine gourmande — Friday 19th January 2007 5:15 pm

Hi Catharine, thank you, the train has brought many smiles indeed!

Thank you so much for you kind comments Lydia, Piperita and Dolce

Hi Tanna, that's so cute that you left if for the little critters! I made my first house when we were just married and after Christmas was over hubby and I took it for a walk to the local park for the fairies to find and live in, hehe

Hi Fanny, I have such a sweet tooth too! Can you tell?

Thank you so much Brilynn, I would have loved to have seen yours!

Hi Bea, hehe it looks a little worse for wear now, plenty of little (and not so little!) hands have enjoyed picking at it!

Thank you Arfi, yes it was HEAPS of fun! We all enjoyed making it so much, a really great family Christmas activity.

Thank you Lisa :-)

Hi Ari, thank you so much!
