That would be beautiful if you made it at home, it's fantastic made over a camp fire. I guess stew is sort of a camp food. Love the onions in the stew. Great photos of difficult subject matter.

Ah, Flamish Carbonnade is one of my dad's childhood favorites and I am quite addicted to it myself! Your recipe makes my mouth water already!

Wow, what an achievement on a gas cooker! It reminds me of when I was first married - we had no real stove and I used a single gas plate for months. It's surprising how much you can actually cook on one when you get used to it. I love your photos.
