Bron, that is one handsome cake! I think this banana berry spice cake is good for hibernating Aussies as well!

I'm currently hibernating in bed with my laptop and electric blanket. That cake looks delicious! Now, if I could just get someone to make it and deliver it to me :-)

well, this is just as good for people in the northern hemisphere - enough of these grizzly rainy days here in london, if not today, then tomorrow.
and just what i need. bananas always rot here and i have plenty of raspberries in the freezer as well. and don't get me started on the rolled oats... a 5kg-pak might be cheap, but it's taking wayyy to much space!

Brillian cake! I love all the spices you use here... Can you please offer people in Australia, who suffer from the cold as well? :)

Even those of us enjoying hot sunshine and warm temperatures can enjoy this treat you've made. Thank you.

Gadfry was a lovely cake . . . bananas and berries . . . that should keep you warm. So good.

Yes I agree with the others - it doesn't matter where you are - hot or cold - this cake looks like it would hit the spot!

Oh that looks absolutely divine. I have often made the original recipe but must try your take on it. How convenient I just happen to have some grotty bananas and some frozen raspberries!

Hi Bron, good to see you back! That is one lovely cake!! We're in the height summer, so I think if I had a slice of your cake I would choose a cold glass of milk to go w/ it (or something stronger :-)).

This cake sounds warm and delicious. Here in Argentina is very cold also (-2) and many times I freezes to take advantage of the pretty light outside to take good picture with natural light. This cake surely divinely accompanied a hot chocolate.

No worries! It happens to everybody. This is a fantastic cake though (which I wish I could have with my cup of tea right now). ;)
