easter 2010

  1. Stephen Robertson Pottery
  2.
  3. I recently purchased this gorgeous crazed green bowl at the new Oxford Art Gallery here in North Canterbury, NZ. Since then I've found Stephen's website online and my wish list has quickly grown - I'm desperate to get my hands on some his coffee mugs to match. Stephen's hand-made form and function ceramics are wheel-thrown and retain the individual impressions of his hands, his workshop is based in Richmond, near Nelson.

  1. Syrup Magazine
  2.
  3. New Zealand's Artisan Food Lovers Magazine - Syrup celebrates food and recipes in delicious, living colour from seed to table.
  4. Originally started in the Bay of Plenty, they are now a nation wide publication. Covering food news from around New Zealand and specialising in our very own unique and often small artisan food producers. Syrup magazine is available in more than 300 bookstores throughout New Zealand or you can subscribe online, subscriptions are welcomed from anywhere in the world. Syrup retails for NZ $5.
  1. Pic's Really Good Peanut Butter
  2.
  3. Pic's is the only peanut butter worth it's salt in New Zealand.
  4. It smells and tastes almost sweet and doesn't leave you with that horrid after taste like the peanut butters bought from the supermarket. It has been impossible to get a photo of a full jar - some Marshall's love Pic's that much!
  5. Naturally there are just two ingredients in Pic's peanut butter - Peanuts and Salt, the peanuts come from Kingaroy Queensland, Australia as unfortunately we don't grow them here in New Zealand, yet. But give climate change a chance and you never know! I purchase my Pic's Really Good Peanut butter at Rare Fare, here in Christchurch it retails for around NZ $8 /360 gram jar.
