Cornish pasties - yum. The weather forecast is for a cold rainy day on Saturday (what's new) so guess what I'm making? Thanks Bron!

There is also a tradition that one end of the pasty would be meat etc, and the other end fruit/jam - main course and dessert in one handy package!

I'm very familiar with the Cornish Pasty since my father is from the UP of Michigan... i've tried to make these before with raw meat and it never gets done inside. Do you brown the meat before adding? Lots of other recipes call for this step. Just wondering - they look divine!
