Flowering Indoors

Thank goodness for flowering indoor plants. It's a struggle to find the flowers I adore having on my table at this time of year, at the very least any from my garden. Buying cut flowers becomes more expensive and as with food, I often think badly of the "flower miles" or carbon emissions used to produce the blooms in the wrong season. My solution is to have flowering indoor plants, like this African Violet which are commonly found in Pink or the more traditional Violet Purple and they last a lot longer than most cut flowers anyway!
