Wow! That looks divine. And it's done nothing but increase my cravings for lamingtons!

I've always wanted to put together one of those rolled desserts. A mix of jam and chocolate sounds wonderful!

Oh wow! Very very clever - and reminds me that I have not had lamingtons (in any shape!) for ages. Sorry to hear about the lack of HHDD participants. WTSIM is also suffering - maybe everyone is too busy tweeting on Twitter these days??

Hi Bron, I just found your site. I have 2 querries #1 do you use SR flour in this recipe or plain flour you do not stipulate #2 when you are covering the roll with Ganache does the bottom of the roll get covered with Ganache or do you just hope the Ganache runs under. rgds Shirley

  • Hi Shirley
Thank you for your questions, I'm sorry for the confusion.
I always use plain all purpose flour and with regards to coating in the ganache, I would suggest spreading a little over the bottom before flipping the roll to coat with the remaining majority. Hope this helps.
