Lovely, I love caraway seeds, these look wonderful. I missed this HHDD, but doesn't mean I can't take advantage of all the wonderful entries!

Hi Kalyn, thank you!

Thank you Brilynn, I adore Beatrix Potter's books and drawings too!

Thank you Catherine!

Oh JenJen thank you so much!

Hi Emma, I love caraway seeds too, they're great in cheese straws, as are cummin seeds too!

I've been following your blog since I found you cited in Blogher, and I have to say, your photos really make your blog stand out. I follow a number of food/cooking blogs, and something about the closeups of your food and the evident love of food and love of making food that somehow gets communicated through the pictures is extraordinary. I run a social enterprise called www.globalgiving.org, which lets donors give directly to grassroots projects in the developing world, and we've been struggling with how to get better pictures, while trying to make allowances for the fact that technology is not always on the side of project leaders working in the developing world. But I think your blog is an object lesson for me on why we have to keep pushing on pictures ... Thanks for the lesson (not to mention the recipes!)

Cute entry and another great way to get kids to eat their vegies. Make them tasty and theme them around a children's book character. This is a lovely recipe.

I know I will definately be echoing many previous comments that i am just gobsmacked by the visual impact of your blog. I know it thanks to your very considerable talent but does having a very good camera assist? I am wondering if I just need to use mine better or get a better one, I suspect both! Anyway love the fresh colourful appeal of your fritters - which I think can be a hard thing to achieve with something that can go brown!

Lushlife — Tuesday 24th October 2006 10:46 pm

Thank you toasted.

Indeed Kathryn, thankfully my girls love their fruit and veges

Thanks Barbara, I wouldn't miss it for the world!

Hi Lushlife, thanks so much
yes I think you can get a fairy good image with a average camera if your other conditions are right. However it's also true I'm blessed with great camera and several great lenses.

These look so easy, doable and yummo! Bookmarked, I might make these tomorrow for a snack after my extremely fussy eater gets back home from kindy. Love the Peter Rabbit spin to it :-)
