Thanks everyone, yes I have to say I was more than a little surprised by his choice, however the winning photos show the complete roll, where as ours is a single slice.
Also on reflection I think we should have added a little something into the background, the grey is a bit bland and cold.

And a side note to his recipe, he says the roulade serves 6,
well perhaps I'm a tad stingy with my slices, but I'd say it serves a few more than six, twelve persons even!
