How wonderful that you can enjoy wild blackberries in March! We won't be able to taste any blackberries until late summer ... we're still dealing with the Canadian cold, but this post has given me hope that we will feel the sunny warmth of summer soon enough.

Thanks Bron!

I sometimes dream of missing the winter months altogether by swaping hemispheres each year, hehe... then I could eat FRESH berries all year round!
Thanks for your lovely comments.

Crumbles, crisps, and, well, baked fruit desserts in general really make me happy. It's winter in Canada right now, and there's something very satisfying about a dish like your crumble when it's served nice and hot. Of course, adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream never hurts, either.

Too true Rob, one must never forget vanilla icecream.
Thanks for your lovely comment.
