Christmas 2009

As a homeschooling family we are very used to creating our own traditions.
We hold and celebrate our “big or main” Christmas in July, it’s true many Antipodeans have a Mid-Winter Christmas meal in July however December and therefore Summer is still the normal big deal decorating, entertaining and sharing wise for most families. Doing it our way in July means we can have all the traditional Christmas fare, grow and cook in season… and may even have a slight chance of snow!

Here are some of the recipes we enjoyed in July 2009…

Christmas Picnic - Cranberry and Orange Muesli Logs
Christmas - Brandy Snaps
Thanksgiving - Walnut Pie - (NB: Photos only)
Thanksgiving - Deep Dish Apple Pie - (NB: Photos only)
