Add the warm water to a medium sized bowl and stir in the brown sugar until dissolved.Sprinkle the yeast granules over the top and put asideMelt the butter and set aside.In a large bowl or electric mixer sift the flour, milk powder, spices and salt and then add the dried fruits.When the yeast mix is frothy add to the flour and fruit and pour in the melted butter. Mix to combine and knead by
hand or in a mixer with a dough hook for about 8 minutes or until lovely and smooth.Cover and set aside to at least double in size (1 hour or more).Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F) with two large terracotta pot saucers.Knock back the dough and cut in half, roll each piece into a rough 30cm diameter circle and leave to rest for 20
minutes.Assemble your toppings.Dust the hot terracotta saucers with cornmeal and place on your shaped pizza dough circles.Drop spoonfuls of cream cheese and the broken chocolate, treats over the top on the dough and drizzle with
honey.Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the pizza base is cooked through.Makes 2

 O.K I have to be honest - this pizza is not so much "cross" as just plain MAD!
 
 My favourite Hot Cross Bun dough baked in a terracotta pot saucer topped with chopped chocolate and dollops of cream
cheese. This would be a great way to share any leftover Easter Eggs too assuming you're willing to make that kind
of extreme sacrifice of course!
 
 
  Hot Cross Bun Pizza 310 ml of warm water½ cup of soft brown sugar2 teaspoons of dry active yeast3½ cups of strong, high grade white bakers flour2 tablespoons of dried milk powder2 teaspoons of mixed spice1 teaspoon of cinnamonA pinch of ground cloves1 teaspoon of salt1 cup of dried fruit such as raisins and currants¼ cup of mixed peel - (optional)25 grams / 1 oz of butter, melted 2 x terracotta pot saucers, approximately 30cm in diameter fine cornmeal to dust the terracotta 250 grams of cream cheese250 grams of bittersweet chocolate, chopped1 cup of chocolate Easter treats, chopped if necessary¼ cup of honey
